Sitti Soap dishes are made from local oak in Jordan by Hassan, a carpenter in the Jerash Camp Rehabilitation Center's woodworking shop. Hassan cuts, sands and finishes each of our Wooden Soap Dishes. He is also deaf. However, his inability to hear does not undermine his passion and dedication to his craft. Sitti recommends using two dishes, in order to change them out every few weeks.
