For the health and safety of our community members, our customers, and our staff, we will be putting a hold on and/or cancelling the following events:
- March 16th - Extinction Rebellion climate change talk → We are looking to make this workshop available online! Watch this space for details.
- March 28th - Clothing Swap @ Innovation Works → CANCELLED until further notice.
- April 2nd - Repair Café → CANCELLED until further notice.
- April 7th - Composting 101 → We are considering either making this workshop available online or rescheduling it. Watch this space for details.
We have contacted everyone that has reserved tickets for the events listed above and hope everyone understands our precautions at this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to DM us or email us at: info@reimagineco.ca
✨✨✨
In our shops, we will also be stepping up our cleaning procedures to ensure extra precaution for the safety of both our community members and our staff. We will wipe down all surfaces, scoops, taps on refillery, pumps, etc immediately after use and ask that you do not “double scoop”. Please be patient with us as we may need a few extra minutes to wash our hands, wash scoops, wipe down taps, etc between helping people.
At our King St location, feel free to ask us if you can wash your hands at our sink!
At our market location, Purel hand sanitizer is available when you enter the market and we encourage you to use that before visiting us (or any vendors!). The market also has the cutest sinks in the basement, so plenty of room for handwashing.
✨✨✨
We do have lots of bulk soap available and washing your hands is key right now!
✨✨✨
Please stay tuned for updates on events in April and our store hours, as we will make changes based on the health unit’s recommendations.
✨✨✨
Finally, for the latest London-specific news and needs, please check out this helpful Facebook group “Caremongering London, ON - Community & Activist Responses to Covid-19”:
“A group for sharing and organizing community resources in responses to COVID-19. The goal of this group is to organize the local community on the grassroots level to ensure vulnerable and/or oppressed community members have access to food, housing, healthcare, and other necessities. It is also for the redistribution of resources in the case that stockpiling prevents people from accessing basics. Community activism and advocacy is welcomed and encouraged. You can also post requests for aid/support here. Please share any opportunities/events that may be helpful to support community members!”
