We are getting ever closer to opening our new package-free grocery store at 206 Piccadilly Street.
The renovations have taken longer than we hoped, but they are all but done now and we are at the point of setting up the store and ordering in food!
The electricians are officially finished on site! The plumbers are on site today installing a reverse osmosis system and our final hand sink and then they will be finished, too! Kara’s dad, Chris, is also helping us install rubber baseboards today which is one of the final interior pieces to go before we can start our final clean. Our last tradesperson is Mark, who is getting our coolers up and running. He still needs a few more days for that, but otherwise the construction will be 99% complete.
We have several City inspections to look forward to this week. If all of those go smoothly, we will be able to open next week, in time for the holidays. Â
Opening and Store Credit
Thank you again to all of our crowdfunding donors who are a big part of making this all possible.
When our doors do open we will be maintaining everyone's safety with a reduced capacity. While you can still come and line up outside, we are introducing an online booking system to help reduce wait times. There will be more information to come about how to book an appointment or join a virtual queue to minimize your waiting time. Watch our socials and your email inbox for more details as we have them!
The store credit for each donation will also be sent out by email to each donor as we open, so keep an eye out for those emails soon.
Thanks again for your support. We could not have done this without our awesome community!
