Did you know a new Reusable Takeout Container Service is Coming to London? It's time to Reimagine Takeout!
Over the last year, takeout has become a restaurant staple. It’s been a great way to support local businesses throughout the pandemic, but at what cost? Normally, many of these restaurants would serve their food in house on reusable plates that are washed, and reused time and time again. Unfortunately, takeout containers are typically single-use only and result in an enormous amount of waste.
It doesn't have to be like this! There's a better way! We are partnering with A Friendlier Company (AFC), a startup which has a run a pilot reusable container program in Guelph and is now bringing this to London, starting in the next month or two!

With AFC's model, businesses don't pay extra to be a part of the program and can actually save money, as well as benefitting from additional traffic generated by AFC's app and marketing efforts.

A Friendlier Company's co-founders, Kayli Dale and Jacquie Hutchings, will be going over how their reusable takeout container service works and taking questions from attendees. You will also hear from and interact with a restaurant owner who is currently utilizing the reusable container service in Guelph! Heenal Rajani, co-founder of Reimagine Co, will also be speaking during the session to talk about how we are implementing the reusable takeout container service at our store!
