Reimagine is proud and excited to be leading a new initiative with our friends Sunfest and partners HEAL, Storyhaus Digital and London's 5 Business Improvement Areas (BIA's), and with financial support from the City of London through its London Community Recovery Network (LCRN) program.
An alternative to UberEats and other cellphone food delivery apps that stick restaurants with enormous charges, the Good Foods Project will be a web-based platform featuring mom and pop restaurants.
This is a solution created by Londoners, for Londoners, which will provide an opportunity for small businesses to participate in food delivery at a much more affordable rate.
We aim to start small, with 10 downtown and Old East Village restaurants in our first year, and expand across the city after that. Other long-term goals are to get food restaurants aren’t selling to Londoners experiencing homeless and hunger, to divert some revenues back into community projects, and to encourage restaurants to take up reusable packaging.
