Waste Management Role Description

Volunteers working in waste management will have a crucial role in the waste diversion program at the festival. Volunteers in this role will be dedicating their time to minimize the amount of waste going into landfills which will greatly improve the environmental sustainability of the festival and help get it closer to being zero waste. You will also be responsible for educating festival-goers and sharing the benefits of recycling and composting.

We will provide training before the event date on how to sort waste correctly, however it is beneficial to have some background knowledge. Volunteers in this role do not need any previous experience but a passion or interest in reducing waste is preferred!

Grow Wild Go Wild is a one-day event. Shifts are:
9am - 12:30pm

12:30pm - 4:00pm
and/or 9am - 4:00pm
